We co-create Open Source solutions that help bring modern energy to the poorest people in the world. If you have an idea for a piece of hardware, software, or research that can transform energy access, apply to work with us.
We are all about the big picture. We work with partners that share our enthusiasm for efficiency and collaboration to accelerate universal energy access around the world.
Our goal is to save energy access companies time and money. Our materials and resources are free, accessible, and easy-to-use.
OSEAS 2026 opened in Kigali with the launch of Energy Access Explorer 3.0 and MicroPowerManager 1.0, uniting the global energy access and open source community to advance shared tools.
MicroPowerManager (MPM) is becoming a unified, community-driven platform for reliable, scalable off-grid energy management.
Open Source is redefining energy access, transforming software from a product into shared infrastructure that empowers governments, researchers, and businesses to collaborate for scale and innovation.
With the support of EnAccess we were able to develop an IoT communications module that not only helped us significantly expand our operations in the short term, but future-proofs us and others in the sector by adding 4G and WiFi compatibility to our base 2G capabilities.
The OpenPAYGO Token has helped us to reduce costs in our products, made manufacturing easier and enabled us and our clients to bring innovations quicker to market.
The approach of EnAccess is very thoughtful and essential to reduce duplicative efforts, maximize synergies and optimize the allocation of limited resources in the development of open source solutions in the energy access space. A wonderful partner to be working with!
